BRASA member dues cover two calendar years, January – December.

For example: If you became a member for our last conference in 2022, your membership expires December 31, 2023, regardless of enrollment date. 

BRASA has two categories of membership: One for scholars based in the US or Europe, and one for scholars residing permanently in Brazil or developing countries. Please note: All rates are in US dollars.

Membership & Registration bundle – US / Canadian / European Rates

Faculty: $250 USD

Post-docs and Independent Scholars: $150 USD

Students: $100 USD

Membership & Registration bundle – Brazilian / Developing Country Rates

Faculty: $50 USD

Post-docs and Independent Scholars: $30 USD

Students: $20 USD


Payment rates are not based on nationality, but rather country of salary residence, that is, where the person lives and gets paid for work. For participants based in and receiving salaries in countries outside of the United States, Brazil, and Europe, please consult the 2026 World Bank Classification. Residents of countries classified as “High Income” (such as Australia, Korea, and Japan) should pay US/Europe rates. All others should pay rates associated with Brazil.
